Zzzz… Cosmo and coffee in bed kinda day. This week I’ve been working my ass off, as I’m going on vacation next week, so this Sunday I’m going to spend under the covers, with a magazine, a cup of coffee and maybe a Netflix marathon consisting of Season 1 – Season 4 of The O.C (my favourite series in the whole world; I never get tired of Seth Cohen and Ryan Atwood).

My Smoothie Bowl

The summer has been filled with bad eating habits, way too much wine and not enough work outs. The summer is now coming to an end and so is my laziness (I hope). I started my morning with a smoothie bowl and it was so good! I thought I would share the recipe with you guys too. I hope I can get back to my work out rhythm and start focusing again! But all in all, I had a wonderful summer!

For the love of monochrome

You can never go wrong with a black and white outfit! I don’t know how many white shirts I have in my closet, but I feel like they’re essential in a wardrobe.

The Juicery

The Juicery is a small hidden gem in Oslo, located at Frogner, where you can buy Acai bowls, Smoothies, juices etc. This place actually reminds me of DALUMA in Berlin! Has anyone been there before?

We ordered the Green Acai Bowl and it was the best Acai bowl I’ve ever had!

I think that the Juicery is a place that Oslo has been missing for so long. I love the organic and fresh concept. You can see that the place is very popular. By the time we got there, the line was out of the door. And the location is pretty small so I would recommend that you take it to-go if you’re not lucky enough to get a seat. The Juicery is definitely a new favourite of mine, and I would recommend a visit to anyone and everyone.

A summer recap

My summer started early this year – in June to be more precise. I started my summer by travelling to New York City, my second trip to the city this year actually! I normally only go to NYC once a year. We stayed at the lovely Dream Hotel Midtown in Manhattan and then headed to Miami South Beach where we also stayed at the Dream Hotel.

The wonderful interior at the Two Hands Café at Mott St, Manhattan!

At TAO Midtown: The largest portion of Pad Thai noodles I’ve ever received in my life! I don’t think I finished it, but it was really good!

In July I went to the South of France with my boyfriend, which is more or less like a tradition now. I love France! The food, the culture, the atmosphere and the people. We lived in a small village in the Var region in the Alpes called Cotignac, where we stayed for a week and then headed to the Riviera.

What I love about the Riviera is that you can easily visit alot of places, like Menton, Monaco, Cannes, Ezé, Cap d’Ail, Antibes-Juan-les-Pins. You can just drive there or even take the bus which will only set you back 1.50 euros.

So, this was a recap of my summer! How was your summer?

Up close and personal

I consider myself as an introvert person. I love spending time alone. Being by myself. That doesn’t mean that I don’t like being around people, it means that I appreciate some alone time. When I’m alone I take some time to reflect on certain situations. I’m usually pretty stressed about life, expecially being at the age I am, and feeling an uncertainty when it comes to the future.

But I know that I’m not alone when it comes to this. A lot of my friends are stressed – stressed because of uncertainties, because of expectations of the society we live in. Not knowing is the worst feeling.
