Up close and personal

I consider myself as an introvert person. I love spending time alone. Being by myself. That doesn’t mean that I don’t like being around people, it means that I appreciate some alone time. When I’m alone I take some time to reflect on certain situations. I’m usually pretty stressed about life, expecially being at the age I am, and feeling an uncertainty when it comes to the future.

But I know that I’m not alone when it comes to this. A lot of my friends are stressed – stressed because of uncertainties, because of expectations of the society we live in. Not knowing is the worst feeling.

Happy hump day

Good morning! It’s Wednesday and I have a day off from work today, which means breakfast in bed. Today I’m going to start preparing for school as I’m starting my Masters in 3 weeks! How does your wednesday look like?

The weekend is finally here

It’s Saturday! The weekend is finally here. I usually don’t live for the weekend, but this week has been a lot! I’ve been working a lot so I’m looking forward to just sit down and relax. I’m spending this Sunday planning my August. I’ve got a lot of things happening in August, and I’m looking forward to sharing it all on the blog! How does your weekend look like?

Take a dip into my day

I just love having a day off, especially mid-week. It makes the week feel much shorter than it is. I’m not the kind of person that lives for the weekend though, but I understand why Monday and Tuesday isn’t peoples favourite day of the week.

Taking a day off.. The feeling of freedom when the alarm doesn’t decide when you have to get up in the morning.. The after 11AM coffee cup in bed.. What’s your favourite thing to do on your days off?

A book a day keeps reality away

I’ve always been a “reader”. I remember getting my first library card at the age of 7. I could spend hours there everyday reading. As I’ve grown older, I haven’t been the best reader, but I do read. I love books that get me inspired. I would love to get some tips on any books and I love all genres.

The current book I’m reading is “A tree grows in Brooklyn” by Betty Smith. Have anyone else read this book? So far, I’m really enjoying it.
