The Body Lotions You’ll Need This Winter

I wear body lotion every season of the year, but at winter time I do need a body lotion that is a bit thicker than the ones I use at summertime. Some of my favorite body lotions are from Filorga, Keihl’s, By Terry and Clarins.

FILORGA: Nutri Modeling
What I love about this lotion from Filorga is the way it feels on my body. There are times when you wear a body lotion and you feel that your skin dries up immediately. With Nutri Modeling from Filorga you actually feel that the skin is soft throughout the day. The cream is actually a 3-1 lotion that smoothes, refines and tones the figure daily, and is also enriched with murumuru and shea butter, and best of all; the smell!

KEIHL’S: Creme Des Corps
Keihl’s is one of my favorite skincare brands, and I absolutely love this one from Keihl’s. The Creme des Corps has a smooth texture and a luscious smell.

BY TERRY: Baume De Rose Body Lotion
A favorite from By Terry that leaves my skin smelling like roses, as well as it revives dry and parched skin.

CLARINS: Extra-Firming Body Cream
I adore this cream from Clarins. I discovered it when I was at Charles de Gaulle airport, and I really needed to buy a new lotion. I smelled this one from Clarins and was sold. I also love the texture of the lotion, and that it keeps my skin moisturized. This is my absolute favorite body cream.

Barcelona My Way

Barcelona is probably one of my favorite cities in Europe, along with Paris. I usually go to Barcelona once a year, during summer vacation (late August/Septemeber), which I believe is the perfect time to visit the city. I always stay at the same hotel, as I love the location. H10 Art Gallery is close to Passeig de Gracia as well as some great restaurants such as Balmes Rosello and Via Granados, and not too far from my favorite breakfast place, Caravelle. I love walking around in the city and also visit the museums and art galleries. I would highly recommend a visit to the Picasso museum if you’re into the art scene.

Oslo Runway was fun as usual, with many exciting shows. This season my favorite was Moiré! I actually ended up wanting every piece from the show. What I’ve always loved about Oslo Runway is that at the end of each day I got to go home to my own bed.

For my first outfit during Oslo Runway, I wore a pink dress from Stine Goya, with a pink blazer from Rodebjer, styled with a pink bag from Nunoo, and my favorite white sneakers from Acne Studios.

For my second look I wore a dress from Moiré, styled with a bag from Varner, and white boots from Zara.

Copenhagen Fashion Week was great and intense as usual! This time I also had a collaboration with Pandora during Fashion Week, which meant some extra work, but all in all very fun. There were a lot of great shows this season, but my favorite shows were Stine Goya and J.Lindeberg. There’s a lot of great patterns and colors to look forward to.

For my first outfit during Fashion Week I wore a baby blue satin suit from Gina Tricot, with a shirt from Lovechild 1979. I paired it with chunky sneakers from Acne Studios, and a pink bag from Zara to get a bit of pop of color.

For my second outfit during Fashion Week I wore a dress designed by the Danish designer Sofie Sol! I really wanted to wear some Danish design, and this was the perfect dress. I paired the dress with my favorite sneakers from Acne Studios, some polka-dot socks from Monki and a pink bag from Cala Jade!

For my third outfit, I chose a more sophisticated look with a tan suit from Zara, with a white t-shirt from J.Lindeberg as well as transparent heels, and a transparent bag.

My Secret to A Glowing Skin

People often comment on my glowing skin, and I always assume that it’s not a glowing skin, only shine from my oily skin. I have switched out some of the products I used this winter, with products that give my skin the best glow without looking too shiny.

GLOSSIER: SUPER GLOW
I finally got my hands on some Glossier products on my trip to New York City this June! The Super Glow was one of the products I bought, and honestly, this is one of my favorite serums. I use the Super Glow before I use a cream or BB-cream. On the plus side: It gives my skin an intense glow, that lasts throughout the day. On the bad side: I have gone through the entire bottle in just one month. And they don’t sell Glossier in Norway. It’s a travesty!

BIOTHERM: AQUASOURCE SERUM
This serum from Biotherm has been my go-to serum this summer, whenever I’ve felt like my skin really needed some hydration. You can see an effect when using the Aquasource serum. The Aquasource serum will give you 24H of intense regenerating hydration with just one application.

KIEHL’S: GLOW FORMULA SKIN HYDRATOR
Keihl’s is one of my favorite brands because most of the products are effective, and it’s not too pricey! I’ve fallen in love with all the products I’ve tested from Keihl’s, and the Glow Formula Skin Hydrator is no exception. I use the Glow Formula EVERY DAY! I use it under my make-up, or whenever I’m not using makeup, the Glow Formula gives me the perfect look.

FILORGA: OXYGEN PEEL
I was recently introduced to Filorga, and I’m so pleasantly surprised with all the products. Keyword: EFFECTIVE. The Oxygen peel from Filorga is a re-oxygenating micro-peeling lotion. The Oxygen Peel gives me a smoother, more radiant skin. As I do have oily skin I use this every day and night, and I really love the results that the Oxygen Peel gives my skin.

The New York Brunch Spots You Should Visit

I travel to New York City at least once a year, and it has become my favorite city. I love the vibrant life on Manhattan, and the food you can find there is some of the best in the world. Along with my many trips to the concrete jungle, I have found plenty of places where I always eat brunch, and I have listed some of my favorites:

1. Dudleys
85 Orchard Street (Manhattan)
WHY: The ricotta pancakes speak for themselves
WHEN: Early! It gets crowded

2. Bluestone Lane
55 Greenwich Ave
WHY: Smashed Avocado toast!
WHEN: It usually isn’t way too crowded, but if you’re coming on a weekend you should be there early, and if you’re there in the summertime, try to get a table outside!

3. Jack’s Wife Freda
50 Carmine Street
WHY: Everything!
WHEN: Always crowded!

4. Two Hands Cafe
164 Mott Street
WHY: If you’re looking for a good Acai bowl, this place has it! And yeah, the avocado toast is quite good too!
WHEN: It is often crowded, so you’ll probably have to wait either way!

H&M Studio SS18 Collection

Last week I was lucky enough to take a sneak peak at the H&M Studio SS 18 Collection, which launched yesterday! The collection is elegant and minimalistic and you can see by the patterns that it is inspired by Japan. I totally fell in love with the red dress.
